At Campanella O & P our certified prosthetist provides care to patients with partial or total absence of a limb by evaluating, designing, fabricating, fitting, and aligning those artificial limbs known as "Prostheses".
With a view toward engineering the most appropriately functional prosthesis, the requirements of each individual are carefully considered beforehand. For example, the needs of a very active person, such as an athlete would differ from those of a geriatric amputee. With these facts in mind, our prosthetist will select the appropriate state-of-the-art componentry, materials and design right for each person.
Because a prosthesis will be required lifelong by each amputee, it is important that there exists confidence and a trusting relationship between the patient and their prosthetist. This is something that we at Campanella's place great importance upon.
